Ireland: No Country for Pregnant Women

Ireland: No Country for Pregnant Women is an AIMS Ireland blog dedicated to highlighting cases of human rights in childbirth violations in Ireland and our campaign efforts to have these addressed. It was established following the “Mother A” case in March 2013 when Waterford Regional Hospital took a pregnant woman to the High Court to compel her to have a Caesarean section against her will. You can read about the case and our efforts to draw attention to similar examples on the blog. Visit http://nocountryforpregnantwomen.blogspot.ie
