AIMS Ireland AGM 2013 minutes – 7th December 2013

The AIMS Ireland 2013 AGM took place on Saturday 7th December in the Teachers’ Club, Parnell Square, Dublin 1.

The meeting opened with three fantastic presentations:

• Kate Harris of 4 Elements Theatre Company presented on the Daughters of the Revolution Birth Theatre Workshops that took place during 2013
• AIMS Ireland member, Nuala Hoey spoke about her personal experience of birthing decisions and positive birth choice
• Barrister Mary Kirwan presented “Neglecting Reproductive Autonomy : A legal analysis of consent during pregnancy and childbirth in Ireland”

A new committee was elected for 2014 and three motions were passed. You can read more in the minutes of the AGM here:
